To Faye and all the Chateau Battiste Staff: “I just want to thank you for all you have done for my mom, Helen. The wonderful and loving care you gave her, especially during the ending days of her life. I know she believed she was home and it was ok for her to let go. God bless all of you.”
Susan Polis for Helen Dunacheck …
Dear Chateau Battiste Staff: “Thank you so much for all your help. Julian appreciated and became very fond of the caregivers. They were very good to him. Thank you again.”
Kathy Wilton …
To the Administration and Staff of Chateau Battiste: “To say thank you sounds so small compared to all you did to make one mom so comfortable, and to make our family so glad that she was with you during her last days. You made her feel so special and our fears were put aside because she was always well taken care of. I will always have a special place in my heart for Chateau Battiste on Hemet Street, because I lost a piece of my heart there and I know that an angel tips her wings for a job well done by all of you.”
Frank Miralito, Jeanette Camp & family …
To all the Chateau Battiste Staff: Thank you to each person who went beyond their job duties and really cared for everyone here, including our dad. It was hard for us, but you all have been so great to him and to us. You will never know how much you all have done, the impact. Thank you very much Chateau Battiste”
Tony Gonzales Family …
Dear Faye: “In the past month we have had several family members visiting here from out of state to visit mother, (Phyllis Stuart), and I would just like to share with you how favorably impressed they all have been with Chateau Battiste. It is such a comfort to all of us to see the kind and loving care the staff gives the residents.
Thank you so much for providing such a place!”
Sincerely, Emily Shull …
Dear Wonderful Chateau Battiste Staff: “Our family can’t thank you enough for the care and thoughtfulness that you showed our mother. Mom was only at the Chateau for one week but it was a good feeling knowing that she was well cared for. We can’t remember the names of all the caregivers, but please accept a big “thank you” to all. The two Maria’s, Maria Rodriguez and Maria Gomez, were so helpful during the day and putting mom in her favorite satin pajamas; and a special thank you to Leticia Garcia and Edith Garcia; they gave special attention to our mother and spent extra time with my husband and I after she passed. They are extra special caregivers and should be commended. I am sorry my first “thank you” was not received. Thank you again!”
Family of Viola Love… Jackie & Gary Brooten and Dan & Linda Rice …
Dear Chateau Battiste Staff: We can’t thank you enough for all you have done for our grandpa (Tom Clark). We know it put you through a lot and most people would have given up. So we appreciate your strength and desire to help. Much love and God bless you.”
Nissa & Linda …
Dear Faye and Chateau Battiste Staff: Our father, Walter Long, lived the last three years and seven months of his life at Chateau Battiste. With only a phone call from us, the administrator went to the board and care where he was living and removed him from their abusive care. Even though the staff at the other board and care stood in the way of dad’s removal, the Chateau Battiste staff found and rescued Walter. He was dirty and underfeed; his blood sugar reading was only 60. He was taken back to Chateau Battiste, fed, cleaned and watched closely until his blood sugar was back to normal. Thanks to the administration and staff of Chateau Battiste my father’s life was saved. We strongly believe that our father would have not lived to 90 if he had stayed at the other place. We know in our hearts that any other facility would not have gone to the lengths Chateau Battiste staff did to keep our father happy and in the best health possible for his age.
Before his illness, he lived alone and he believed he was a happy person, but, after he moved into Chateau Battiste I saw a difference in him. He enjoyed everything going on around him and being around people again, after years of being isolated in his home. He was unable to get out and go to church, go to clubs or be with his friends when he still lived at home. He was treated with the utmost dignity, which is so important in the senior years of one’s life. Dad’s hearing problems were not an issue at the Chateau, most would have not dealt with it, but each and every staff member dealt with his deafness. The workers at Chateau Battiste became his friends and family.
Our father was very fond of everyone with whom he came in contact. The staff welcomed our father with open arms into the Chateau Battiste family. No amount of words can ever express our gratitude.
